The new world of social media can seem bewildering. But these are just new tools which can be used to effectively promote your business – yes even in the insurance and reinsurance markets.
In our market, many are still sceptical about the benefits of social media. But as the power and use of the medium continues to grow, it is becoming something that no company can ignore.
Learn what works – and what doesn’t at a Bermuda breakfast seminar. Aimed specifically at insurance and reinsurance companies (and the businesses that serve them), executives and marketing teams will find out how to harness these powerful new tools – while remaining corporate and on the right side of the regulators.
- Take you through blogging, LinkedIn and Twitter and provide examples of use of social media in our markets
- Help you understand how it can be used to promote your company and executives as thought leaders
- Help you understand how useful a networking tool social media can be in the global market
- Show you how to develop a workable strategic plan for social media and understand the potential liabilities created by social networking – and how to mitigate the risks
- Give you a take away guide to social media aimed at insurance and reinsurance markets
- There are over 750,000 active users on LinkedIn within the re/insurance market
- Three out of four Americans use social technology
- Social sites are the one of the most popular areas of online technology, ahead of personal email
